Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, the second oldest of 8 siblings who are also musically talented. With a soul busting tenor voice and a vast array of vocal techniques. A vocal explorer who has combined jazz, folk and a multitude of world music influences. He has been known to extend his vocal repertoire to simply create entirely new sounds.

Tony has worn a wide variety of hats over the years, From lifeguard, librarian, Teacher's Assistant to U.S. Army Retired Soldier. He's roots have been Gospel , R&B, Classic Rock, Classical Jazz and many of the great Classical Jazz Standards. He is also a well respected balladeer among his peers. The singer/musician is so diverse and unpredictable, one never knows what he will do or what to expect from one of his performances. He is quite capable of mixing with a lot of different styles of music, but has a deep love for singing true love ballads and songs that fill your spirit with Love and Joy.

Projects have included a series  13 Albums in 13 Months, from July 15, 2022 - July 15, 2023 with a total of 98 songs published and currently streaming on all music platforms. Currently he is performing with his band he put together called “ The Tony Boone Project”. The band is a local Southern California band that is active  on the music circuit at various venues around the city.
